I’ve been to Daylesford a total of 4 times now- once in each season and have absolutely enjoyed my stay each time. But there is just something poetic about going during the colder months. This time around at Daylesford, marked our first little family trip, so it was extra memorable. The energy of the little town, the fragrant, crisp smell of the lavender in the air and the overall vibe of the people, has a surreal, slightly magical feel to it. I always feel so rejuvenated after my stay there- maybe that is why it’s known as ‘Spa’ Country hehe. I felt like a different person and came home with a renewed sense of energy and purpose. Our quick trip helped me hit the reset button and served as a reminder that sometimes getting away is the best way to get out of lifestyle rut. We stayed at a cosy little cottage with a fireplace booked through an AirBnB, snuggled whilst watching movies & drinking copious amounts of wine & different local beers- while M slept of course :) We hope to always come back here with M – maybe a start of a new tradition? Have a lovely weekend.

Our favourite places to go: Koukla, Breakfast & Beer, Lavandula Farm, the Apple/Vanilla slice from Pastry King Bakery
