Hello again from 2018. I know I’m a little late to the party, but like I’ve always said “better late than never!” Happy New Yeat 2018 guys! I’m sure like with everybody else, 2017 had its up & downs for us. The bike that I got for Grahams 30th was stolen…then his car got stolen too within months apart- though we did get it back in the end (phew!)- There was that roller coaster ride where we thought we would never move out, but we finally did. On the other hand, Marlowe turned 1 last year & I turned 30! Marlowe raised a total of $700 for Save the Children (the amount that was accounted for) for her birthday which was amazing & we thank everyone who donated. G & I celebrated our 3 years of being married, my parents retired, we had our family reunion in Bali with 9 adults & total of 6 kids. The family restaurant received an award for “Best Chinese- Melbourne Outer East” on Menulog & we also welcomed a baby boy (nephew) near Christmas!  And like every start of the new year, there are things I’d like to change about myself or my habits.

This year, I thought I’d take a simpler, more realistic approaches (see, I plan to keep adding them throughout the year haha!) Here are 10 things I’m going to try to stick to in 2018!! What’s yours?

  1. Drink more water
  2. Use more face masks (getting old you know)
  3. Support more small businesses
  4. Less plastic bags! Use more cloth bags!
  5. Use more environmentally friendly products (will try to blog more on this hopefully)
  6. Try to blog. TRY
  7. Try something new- if not for myself, for Marlowe.
  8. Start reading books again. YES!! BOOKS!!!!!
  9. Keep charities alive.
  10. Stay in touch
