Being a notorious sweet tooth, Macarons are another ‘one of those’ staples in my diet- too bad they are often too expensive to buy in bulk to just scoff into your mouth without a care in the world (and too pretty to eat too!) There’s just this small burst of joy when you bite into a crackly shell & then overcome with soft-almost-melt-in-your-mouth sweet filling. I was given this by my sis to make, which you can also find at your local supermarkets. Such a fun & easy process- more so because Mr Zumbo had already included all the tools as well as helpful videos like this! All you need to provide is baking paper & a small amount of butter…and Bobs your Uncle!

Considering this was my first try at Macarons, I give myself a 8/10! Eating it fresh out of the oven is an irrevocable pleasure compared to purchasing from the stores.. Maybe next time I’ll make some from scratch!
